   Vandaag heeft *openmargin de publieke lancering van hun e-reading platform aangekondigd: de website en iPad applicatie geeft lezers de mogelijkheid om notities uit te wisselen rondom de tekst die zij aan het lezen zijn. *openmargin maakt het mogelijk voor lezers om eigen notities publiekelijk te delen en die van andere lezers te verkennen, binnen het boek.    Today, *openmargin announced the public launch of their e-reading platform: a website and iPad application allowing readers to exchange notes around the pages they are reading, essentially turning the book into a community. *openmargin allows readers to publish their notes and to see the notes other people left right inside the book itself. Thereby enabling meaningful conversations with potentially anyone around globe about the specific subject the reader is interested in.

   *openmargin introduced their iPad app today on The Next Web conference. The service turns eBooks into meeting places for likeminds, by allowing readers to share their thoughts within the openmargin. Publishers are excited and make a selection of their books available for free.

   Op The Next Web conferentie introduceerde *openmargin vandaag hun iPad applicatie. De dienst wil van eBooks ontmoetingsplekken maken voor geestverwanten, door lezers van gedachten te laten wisselen in de opengestelde marge. Uitgevers zien toekomst in de dienst en stellen een selectie van hun boeken gratis beschikbaar.
